Beware The Man With A Van!

You may have read the tragic story recently of a young couple who had their entire house contents, including everything in their fridge, stolen by a bogus removal man.

The young West Midlands couple were looking forward to moving to their new flat in Walsall.  Everything seemed to be going well when two removal men arrived, as booked, and began loading furniture into a van.  They were punctual, polite and appeared professional, arousing no suspicions.

The van then drove off and that was the last the couple saw of their belongings.  Fortunately, the public have rallied round and to donate furniture and raise over £3,000 for the couple.  However, while a washing machine can be replaced, a bracelet with an engagement ring attached and an album of family photos are irreplaceable.

The couple found the man with a van through Facebook, had a mutual friend and said there were plenty of positive feedback on the site.  On the strength of this they booked him.
