The Best Time To Move

There is a lot of speculation as to when is the best time to move home. If you’re relocating for work then you probably won’t have much say on the matter and the move date will be linked to your start date.

It may be that you’re moving ahead of your partner and/or children so by the time they join you, you’ll have probably settled in with at least some of your belongings.

But if you’re moving to upsize or downsize then there are many factors that you’ll have to take into account.

If you have children then the main focus will be on whether or not moving out of the area can be done without disturbing their school year. But on the other hand, because so many people move during the summer school holidays, these are the most expensive and peak season for removal firms.
